Gok-Lim Finch
A writer, artist and PhD candidate living on the unceded lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people. They have been published in Westerly, Voiceworks, Cottonmouth, and Australian Poetry. In 2015 they co-curated Anthologia with Alina Tang, an exhibition of floriographic poetry; and launched an ongoing nomadic residency where they lived in a self-made off-grid nomadic dwelling called grr for 15 months. In 2017, they were the Project Officer for Propel Youth Arts WA, organising the KickstART Festival 2017 Propel Youth Arts WA. In 2018, they were the Arts Administration Officer for the City of Albany. In 2019, they were along with Gabby Loo, a Creative Research Fellow for the State Library of WA, and co-curated Imagined Migrant Futures, an exhibition about Asian migration into WA.
